Academic Council

The academic and career ambitions of students have always been given the highest priority
at Kamakhya Pemton College. The college always focus on evaluation of its faculty expertise,
research opportunities, and available resources for higher education.
The Academic Council, was established on 13ft June ,2022, under the esteemed leadership
of Principal Dr. W. Nimai Singh with an aim of maintaining exceptional teaching and learning
practices as well as high academic standards.
Kamkhya Pemton College aims to be a centre of excellence in higher education by maintaining
high academic standards and adapting teaching practices to evolving educational needs. The
institution is committed to regularly reviewing and updating its curriculum. The objectives
include supporting students and staff to ensure quality education and fostering collaborations
with other institutes for outcomes of the college. The Academic Council plays a crucial role in
achieving these goals, reviewing and assisting academic programs, evaluating teaching
practices, allocating resources for academic purposes, and promoting collaborations for better
outcomes in student and staff development.

Aims and Objectives:
1. To promote Kamkhya Pemton College a centre of excellence in Higher Education.
2. To review and maintain exceptional teaching and learning practices for high academic
standards.
3. To regularly review and plan academic curriculum to address the evolving educational
needs, industry and society.
4. To support students and staffs in providing quality education.
5. To establish and promote co-operation, partnerships and collaborations with other
institutes in order to initiate better outcomes for the students. staffs and college.
