An international seminar on Non-violence was conducted on October 30-31, 2023, at Kamakhya Pemton College. Against the backdrop of global challenges, including Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and its repercussions, scholars gathered to discuss the relevance of nonviolence in contemporary times. Addressing communal clashes and political tensions in India, the seminar featured insights from nonviolence scholars, offering strategies and practices for personal and societal transformation. Attendees were encouraged to embrace a nonviolent shift, connecting with each other to work towards a just, healthy, and sustainable world, free from racism, poverty, war, and environmental crises.
