Kamakhya Pemton College, Hiyangthang is first to bring higher study to the students especially in the surrounding villages of the college and presently it is being extended all over the state and the nation as well. The vision of the College is to provide and promote quality in higher Education to students for being good citizens through knowledge in the needs of global changes. The mission of the college is to uplift the learners by imparting quality education and practising with the latest requirements through innovative teaching and learning methods.

We, at the Kamakhya Pemton College, strive to help and to support the students in right direction with the understanding of the Mahatma Gandhi’s word: “The Future depends on what we do in the Present”. We have been continuously undertaking responsibility to develop our younger generation to fit human core values: discipline, attitude, habit, cooperation, integration, team work, professional skill, Patience, adaptability, critical thinking, time management, self-confidence, self employability, problem solving, self-directive, creative ideas, communication skill, potentiality of performing activities, belongingness to community services, ideas of being responsible citizens, ideas of the nation etc. through various co-curricular activities, Sports, NSS,  Cultural and Literacy Programme and Value addition courses etc.

The upcoming academic session being of great importance and challenges to the faculties of Kamakhya Pemton College, we are going to adopt new learning outcome curriculum framework under the National Education Policy 2020 for the changes of curriculum, rearrangement of staff deployment and other requirements. We are making to develop well-infrastructural facilities and well-structured and transparency in office management and online Feedback mechanism. We provide a platform to the students and other stakeholders to inform their grievances/ suggestions whenever they wish. The purpose to adopt new learning outcome curriculum framework (LOCF) is clearly to make a student-centric teaching-learning system. Our college perform well in different sport events in inter college / inter university tournaments. Our students and faculties are fully encouraged to participate/organise/conduct to different academic activities.

Finally, I would like to assure that our team of staffs employed in the college will dedicate and support to fulfil the requirements of the students at the best level.
