Mission

The institution’s mission reflects its distinctive characteristics; the College caters to the educational, social, cultural and economic needs of the society by instilling a sense of belongingness to all the students, staffs as a signifier of the society. All these characteristics are reflected in its policies and programmes that define the institutional uniqueness. High quality educational programmes and healthy practices are implemented keeping in mind the policy of uncompromising adherence to values and principles of inclusion, responsibility and social accountability. The success of the institution’s mission is driven by value-based ethical behaviour of its committed faculty members and staffs. The College believes that all aspects of education focus on the core values of contributing to national development while keeping in view the philosophy of having professional ethics and a sound uniform ethical conduct. The spirit of Goddess Ema Lairembi guides the mission of this college, which is to produce students and teachers alike of substance, whose feet will be rooted while their hands reach out to steer change and progress. There is a paradigm shift in the educational focus with the implementation of NEP- 2020 in HEIs; teachers are urged to move from imparting knowledge to becoming mentors, encouraging self-learning, innovation and creativity amongst students. Further, they work towards building leadership skills, problem solving and envisioning reforms. To make this institute of higher education a center of excellence by promoting knowledge, innovations and finding its applications by tapping the potentials of staffs and students.

  • To teach students for bringing out expected learning outcome periodically with curriculum planning, deployment of staff and increase focused on Learning Management System by using various IT tools.
  • To evaluate knowledge of the students by continuous internal assessments and to take-up supportive measures to mitigate their grievances.
  • To encourage extracurricular and outreach activities among all the stakeholders by following the principles of benevolence, honesty, sacrifice, sincerity and high moral or ethical standards.
  • To develop human values, professional ethics, constitutional obligations, understanding of deep socio-cultural and religious fragments of society and sense of community services through awareness, workshops, trainings and practices.
